A lottery syndicate made up of 13 postal workers from Romulus, Michigan, is set to start playing the Powerball lottery game after winning half of a $93million Mega Millions jackpot. According to an article by the Detroit Free Press, the group came forward on Friday to claim their winnings following last Tuesday’s draw, and chose to take the lump sum amount of $29million before state and federal taxes. The group has been playing the Mega Millions lottery game for the past 12 years, spending $65 every Tuesday and Friday.
