Powerball is the name of a massively popular lottery game that is offered to players in 44 lottery jurisdictions in the United States of America. Buying Powerball Lottery Tickets

There are two Powerball lottery games every week, one on Wednesday and the other on Friday. Purchasing a single ticket entitles the player to enter one line of numbers (five main numbers and a Powerball number) and there are nine ways to win a prize. The overall odds of winning any of the Powerball lottery prizes are approximately 1 in 31.84, so although winning the jackpot outright is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, winning one of the more modest prizes is something that regular players can, with a little luck, celebrate again and again.

Powerball lottery players who want to multiply any non-jackpot prize that they win can try and do so by paying a little extra for a Power Play entry. A Power Play number ( in the range 2 to 5) is drawn and anyone who has won a non-jackpot Powerball prize and exercised the Power Play option will have their prize increased as per the table below:

Are These The Real Powerball Winners?

The Powerball jackpot win of $254 million remained unclaimed for a few weeks however it was announced earlier this week that the winners are three asset managers from Greenwich, Connecticut. However, since these three men came forward to collect their jackpot win many news reports are asking are these the real Powerball winners? Powerball Winners Come Forward

Many rumors circulated around the Powerball winners however the holders of this ticket have now come forward to claim their massive winnings. The holders of this winning Powerball ticket are three bankers from Greenwich, Connecticut which is already one of the more wealthier towns in America. The winners are Greg Skidmore, Brandon Lacoff and Tim Davidson who are all asset managers. Tonight sees one of American’s biggest lotteries the Powerball have a jackpot that is worth an estimated $245 million available to win. The top prize has reached this truly impressive height due to the fact that it has rolled over a total of 12 times.
