Pick 6 Lotto – This NJ Lottery game is played every Monday and Thursday, and the jackpot has a starting level of $2 million. New Jersey Lottery players have to pick 6 numbers from the range 1 to 49 and match all of them to win the jackpot, so the odds of landing the top prize are 1 in 13,983,816. Consolation prizes are also paid to NJ Lottery players who only manage to match five, four or three numbers.

Jersey Cash 5 – The Jersey Cash 5 game is played seven days a week, and NJ Lottery players have to select 5 numbers from the range 1 to 40. The odds of matching all five of your numbers here are 1 in 658,008, and there are smaller prizes for players who match four or three selections.
Pick 4 – This game is played twice a day, seven days a week, and involves the NJ Lottery player picking a four digit number from 0000 to 9999. There are various different entries that the player can make, and the odds and prizes available vary according to the type of entry made.
Pick 3 – This New Jersey Lottery game is similar to the Pick 4 game, but here players need to pick a three digit number from 000 to 999. There are two draws each day, seven days a week, and once again a variety of entry types that can be selected.
An Instant Match option is also available to NJ Lottery players in the Pick 4 and Pick 3 games for a modest additional fee. If any of the numbers entered for the Pick 4 or Pick 3 game match the Instant Match numbers, an instant cash prize is awarded to the player.
The NJ Lottery also offers instant win games (lottery scratchcards, etc.) but the draw-based games outlined above are the ones that tend to be the most popular with players who fancy a shot at becoming one of the next NJ Lotto jackpot winners.

A lotto player who bought a ticket for last Saturday’s Cash 5 draw in New Jersey has won almost half a million dollars. The winning ticket, worth $476,977, was the only one sold for Saturday’s game to match all five main numbers, 1, 8, 16, 28 and 30.
