A 50p increase putting the cost of a EuroMillions ticket up to £2 in the UK, incorporates the introduction of the Millionaire Raffle from EuroMillions. The National Lottery has introduced this new part of the game to the EuroMillions to create a guaranteed UK millionaire every week.

The way that you play the EuroMillions does not change in any way as your Millionaire Raffle is added to your EuroMillions Lottery ticket automatically when you purchase in your ticket in the usual way.
Every time you buy lottery tickets for the EuroMillions, there will be a unique Millionaire Raffle number added to each line on your lottery ticket automatically, and this is the number that will added into the weekly Millionaire Raffle draw. The winner of this EuroMillions add on game, will win a guaranteed £1 million prize. This of course in addition to the main EuroMillions lottery game and will not affect your game play for the EuroMillions.
The EuroMillions, Millionaire Raffle game has been introduced by the National Lottery and is only available to lottery players in the UK.
The odds of winning the Millionaire Raffle are estimated to average at about 1 in 6 million but obviously this will vary somewhat depending on how many entries there are per draw. As this new addition to the EuroMillions lottery is automatic, this means that every single player who chooses to buy lottery tickets for the EuroMillions in the UK, will also receive an automatic Millionaire Raffle entry and when the EuroMillions lottery reaches high jackpot levels due to multi-rollovers, this will increase lottery ticket sales in the UK, along with Millionaire Raffle entries, so the odds of winning will change.
